SEO sounds so easy on the surface. Search engine optimization, known as SEO, depends on placing certain keywords in your website, right? And the more you add them, the better.
Actually, SEO is much more complicated than just sprinkling a few keywords around. Search engines, like Google and Bing, are continually changing their ranking formulas to make their results more focused on what people are searching for. In the past couple of years, Google has made significant changes to their formulas that changed some company’s rankings significantly. SEO experts spend a lot of time getting familiar with these changes and figuring out how to get their client’s pages higher in the ranks.
And SEO services have gone far past doing keyword research and content creation. These experts known how to optimize entire websites and marketing campaigns to improve lead generation and lead conversion.
How can you tell if you need to pay for SEO services? Try answering these questions and see:
- Is your company showing up on Page 1 for your keywords?
Keywords are your life lines to the search engines. Without them, you will not be found by potential customers. However, if your search engine rank is not on the front page, you are not going to get many customers any way. If your ranks are down there, a professional SEO company can help you. - Do you have optimized landing pages?
Your landing pages are the first thing many people see when they arrive at your website. Those landing pages need to do two things: rank high in search engine searches and grab the attention of anyone coming to visit. If your landing pages are not optimized and you have no idea how to do it, you need a professional SEO service. - Do you blog regularly?
Blogs are a powerful marketing tool. When done correctly, they can attract tons of traffic and help convert visitors into leads. They can also convert leads into sales. If you are not blogging regularly, you need to start. If you are blogging, is your blogging getting the effects you want. If not, you need an SEO partner. - How many leads are you getting from your website?
Two parameters you need to watch from your website is how much traffic you are getting and how many of those visitors are becoming leads. You want a good percentage of lead generation from your visitors. And you want to improve that every month. If you are not, get an SEO service to help. - Do you have time to do any of the above?
If you are like most company owners, you have very little time to do extra things besides running your business. Learning how to do SEO, optimize landing pages, blog, and increase lead generation is a bit much. This is a prime example for when a web design agency can help you out.

Hmm is anyone else experiencing problems with the images on this blog loading?
I’m trying to determine if its a problem on my end or if it’s the blog.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
No, the images load pretty quickly for me. It may due to the link to your spammy site that was included in your comment. I removed it, see if that fixed the problem…..;-)
Hey there! I just wanted to ask if you ever have any problems with hackers? My last blog (wordpress) was hacked and I ended up losing many months of hard work due to no backup. Do you have any solutions to stop hackers?
Yes I do. I still have people trying to submit their crappy spammy link to a website disguised as a nice comment or question…!! The nerves!! Maybe I should be flattered that they think my website is worthy of a great backlink.
I ask myself the same question with SEO people still using the old technique of disguising their comment as an attempt to spam a website with a link to their spammy website. So 2005 if you ask me. In 2016, you need to EARN backlinks.
I’m really loving the theme/design of your site.
Do you ever run into any internet browser compatibility problems?
A couple of my blog visitors have complained about
my site not operating correctly in Explorer but looks
great in Chrome. Do you have any tips to help fix this issue?
